Last issue we left off with M.O.D.O.K. running from A.I.M. and directly to Tony Stark to get help with his mind movies. The fast pace of the last issue and the hilarity that ensued as a result of M.O.D.O.K.’s escape from A.I.M. left me chomping at the bit for more. Now is the time to see if this creative team can continue to the rip roaring fun or was the fun I had last issue all in my head.

We open in Tony’s Office/Lab and Tony is talking to Hawkeye on video chat. Hawkeye is thanking Tony for the heads up on the break in at Pym Labs by Taskmaster. Curiously Hawkeye asks Toy where he got the info? A voice screams out from the background, “From his Greatest Nemesis!”, and with a goofy shock of amazement from Hawkeye Tony turns off the call.

After the call Tony and M.O.D.O.K. discuss what is wrong with M.O.D.O.K.’s head. Tony really can’t find out what the problem is until he is able to fix the damage done to M.O.D.O.K. by the blast that originally caused the damage, but to do that he needs an invention he already made but was stollen by A.I.M. in the first issue.

M.O.D.O.K. knows where the tech is and that is Vegas. It is to be auctioned to the highest bidder at the Criminal Technology Show Expo. What transpires next is supposed to be some kind of Ocean’s Eleven type snatch and grab but with these two working together don’t be surprised when nothing works out as planned.

Final Thoughts:

This was yet another great issue. I liked last issue a little more though, because we got some really good action sequences with M.O.D.O.K. ripping though a bunch of A.I.M. guys, but with this issue most of the fighting happens off panel and with all the villains that make an appearance in this issue it left me a little disappointed. This issue even without the fight scenes was still fun, interesting, energetic, and colorful.
