To all of those interested at home, here is an updated checklist for the entire EMPYRE crossover event. However, please keep this in mind Marvel fans, the updated schedule is also starting to slide just a bit. For instance, the EMPYRE HANDBOOK, which was once listed to arrive prior to EMPYRE #1 in July, is now arriving on August 5th, 2020. Also, notice some titles like EMPYRE: SPIDER-MAN and IMMORTAL SHE-HULK have either disappeared from the landscape or moved release dates to later on in the event.

Instead of simply pushing back all other events, it seems like Marvel may actually be trimming the fat, condensing, and shifting comics around in order to beef up the event while not taking away from brand new runs like the X OF SWORDS event coming this September. With August bringing MAESTRO and FANTASTIC FOUR: ANTITHESIS, which are both highly-anticipated series, as well as a new IRON MAN comic in September to join X OF SWORDS, it appears as though Marvel is merely trying to create the best possible stories they can between now and Fall 2020.
