If you enjoy Peter Parker with his edginess, then you will enjoy this series! If you ever thought what a Spider-Man would be with like if he was a bit of a jerk, while still making you laugh, then look no further. With after defeating his first official villain in his new home grounds, Otto/ Elliot, now getting his feet wet in the art of dating. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned when he reveals his secret to her as well as learning that a bunch of demons are running havoc. Can the unlikely team of Doctor Strange and Superior Spider-Man stop the demons from running wild? Let’s dig in and see what we have here…

We start the issue showing us both throughout history Strange and Otto had an encounter with one and other where one of them is down on their luck while the other one is living the high life, both examples show the one living the high life could careless about the other one. I will admit I did say to myself “good for you Otto! Karma got ya Strange! Nice parallels but for the story, felt like it was a waste and was not needed nor did it do anything for the story.

Now we head to the present as Doctor Strange and Otto are trying to take down Master Pandemonium and try not to injury the possosed humans. As well as trying to work together, that is if their egos don’t get away. A lot of times throughout this book we get both of the doctor’s fighting with each other on who’s idea is better and who’s smarter. Moments like those, make me enjoy this book more and more.

Once they finally get to work on the same page, it was quite easy for them to take down Pandemonium. Which now Otto asks Strange a request, to mind wipe just one person, as they banter back and forth before Strange disappears, I hope that we see more of this team up as well as other ego-maniac teams up in the future of Marvel or future of Superior Spider-Man.

Back at Otto’s place, he and Anna Maria argue over what to do with Emma, especially how she knows who Elliot really is. Thankfully she is able to see that he has changed.

Now we see where Strange has sent Pandemonium, as they said before, there is more than one hell. We see Pandemonium has an encounter with Mephisto. With how he is behind the scenes with Agent Coulson, I can see some big stuff happening in Marvel with him.

Final Thoughts:

The issue started off with a parallel of two encounters Otto and Strange had, which ultimately did nothing for the story. The issue did a little bit better with the pacing than last issue, which felt like it took forever to read to read. The issue did have one time that dragged on but after, was enjoy to read! With great dialogue, the banter between the two doctor’s had me hoping we see more of them. The art team did great job except for the flashback scene. Even though it did feel like a flashback, the art was a bit off on some of the panels. Overall, book is defiantly one to pick up!
